We paid €111 during peak season for the Galway races in August. Nearby B&Bs were charging at least €250 for one night without breakfast, so the value here was unbeatable. The hosts, Bridie and her husband, are lovely, genuine people, and the night was quiet with no noise from neighbouring rooms. Our room was newly decorated and gorgeous, and the whole place was spotless. There was a private bathroom with hot water, a hairdryer and tea facilities in the room, plus a fabulous breakfast. We were there as a couple, but families and solo travellers were staying too, so it suits all sorts of guests. The bus stops right outside and takes 10-15 minutes to Galway city centre in normal traffic. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Better than any B&B or even hotel, and excellent value for money.

Joe and Bridie are lovely hosts, warm and welcoming. The room was great, and somehow they kept the place cool in this crazy heat. The review below from Katy something must be about a different business, maybe the Woodhaven Manor next door. This place doesn’t use a keypad for check-in, and Joe and Bridie are always around to help guests.

We stayed for two days and had a great time. It’s easy to get to if, like me, you usually drive on the right. We took taxis into Galway, and the town centre is a short ride away. Great hosts and a superb breakfast.
