jovanka and alec were so kind and welcoming, i felt at home there. The solo room suited me perfectly, and i liked the firmer bed. It might feel a bit small for someone over 5’10. Breakfast was simple and just right, with porridge or muesli, eggs, and more.

Yovanka and Alex run a warm, welcoming place with a lovely hot breakfast made fresh. It’s close to the village and looks over a beautiful stream. Highly recommend.

Jovanka was a lovely hostess, and the A1 breakfast was a real highlight. The accommodation is also very near the centre of Glengarriff. I can’t recommend the converted garage we stayed in, though. There was mold throughout, especially in the bathroom, and it didn’t seem fit to rent in that state. Judging by the positive reviews, I can only assume the rooms in the house are different.

The inn is an easy walk from the town centre and just down the street from the nature reserve. Alec and Jovanka were wonderful hosts, and the house was warm with good hot showers. Breakfast was filling, with great options, and they clearly know a lot about hosting. Highly recommended!
