Piaras, Lenny and Sophie at the bar really made us feel welcome and looked after. They were friendly, attentive and great craic, and went above and beyond. That kind of service makes a big difference. Ashdown Park Hotel is lovely, with comfortable rooms, a great atmosphere and everything we wanted for a relaxing break. We had a top class stay from start to finish, would highly recommend it and will definitely be back. 🍻✨

I don’t mind that it costs almost €1,000, this place is still amazing! The rooms are great, the location is just right, and breakfast is decent. March to July seems like a perfect time to go. I haven’t been back for over a year and miss it, but I’ve visited a few times and am planning another trip in 2026. Seriously, skip NYX hotel in Portobello and try the ASHDOWN HOTEL instead. Also, please bring back the slide if you had it about 10 years ago.

As wedding photographers and videographers, we really appreciate a team that keeps the day running smoothly and makes everyone feel relaxed and welcome. Claire and Eimear are fantastic to work with on a wedding day. They’re professional, organized and clearly care about making things special for the couple. We love working at Ashdown Park Hotel and highly recommend it to couples looking for a beautiful venue with great staff. Damian

We spent three nights here with our toddler and loved every minute. The spa, gym and pool gave us plenty to do and helped us stay relaxed. Everything felt clean, comfortable and cozy, the staff were great, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was especially good, with lots of options. Thanks to Silvana and the Breakfast staff!

A handy base for exploring Wexford, with Gorey’s great location and Courtown Harbour just minutes away. I’ve stayed three times now. The room was nice and spacious, with water, tea and coffee, and there’s a nice pool too. I’d come back. A+.
