The rooms were immaculate, and I loved the hotel’s decor. We had a wonderful stay on Sunday night, with lovely food and drinks and plenty to choose from. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The front desk team even pointed us toward the shopping centres and suggested where to go. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d highly recommend it 😊

The family room worked well for two adults and two kids for our one-night stay. It was clean and modern, the beds were really comfortable, and the shower was great. Breakfast had a good mix of hot and cold food, tea was always available, and the barista coffee was nice. Everyone we met on staff was friendly and easy to approach. Great value, and I’d happily recommend it to family and friends or stay again. I’d give it a harsh 8.5: the A/C in our room didn’t work, and the lobby felt a bit cramped, though that’s nitpicking. A great spot.

The bar staff came across as plainly unfriendly. In my experience, service staff in Irish hotels rarely seem as engaging as those in American hotels. Maybe local customers don’t expect that kind of interaction. There are occasional exceptions, but they’re unusual.

There’s very little atmosphere here, and the hotel feels scattered, out in the middle of nowhere. It’s about a 30-minute drive from the airport, depending on traffic, so it can do for a night before a flight. Otherwise, don’t delay.

The slow service made this a really poor experience. Our food took forever, and the mocktails my two daughters ordered never arrived. My youngest is dairy free, so we asked whether they had vegan ice cream. The waitress said she’d check, took ages, and never came back with an answer. Then, when we ordered dessert, the adults’ coffees came out before the kids’ desserts. With so many families staying here, they should understand kids better. M never coming back.
