The area was lovely and quiet, though the entrance is easy to pass if you’re not watching for it. I booked at the last minute and was sent videos showing how to get into the property, which made arrival simple. There’s parking, and the gated entrance helped me feel secure. The room had a comfortable bed and very luxurious furnishings, with kitchen facilities and both an indoor lounge and a garden lounge with a large TV. I’d stay again if I’m nearby.
We only managed one night because of our schedule, which was a shame. The house was charming, parking felt secure, and the hot showers were amazing. Best of all, the bed was the most comfortable we’d slept in since leaving home. After a year on the road, this B&B was just what we needed to recharge.
The decor is lovely, but for me it doesn’t make up for the price. There’s no breakfast, although a continental option is offered, and you can use the kitchen. If you’re looking for a hostel, Bantry would be a better choice, since this place is in another village.
Loved how peaceful and quiet it was. It’s the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed, and I’ll be back ☺️
