The location is good and there's plenty of parking. The bed and room were fine, and the shower had nice strong pressure. Breakfast wasn't so good, though. Apart from the cooked options, there wasn't a choice of fresh cheese, meat, or fish for the bread. The Irish breakfast, French toast, or scrambled eggs seemed to have been heated in the microwave.

Kenmare, along with Dingle, makes an excellent home base for the Ring of Kerry. This B&B was quiet but close to everything, and breakfast was fantastic. The lady running it was very nice too. Recommended for couples and families.

The Brass Lantern is ideally located, and the staff are friendly and helpful with suggestions for things to do around Kenmare. Our room was very clean and spacious. We got a larger room than requested because that was all they had available. Breakfast was very good as well. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Kenmare.

A bit expensive for what's offered. The rooms are clean, breakfast is nice, and there's free parking. It's a five-minute walk from the city centre, and a good base for visiting the kerry ring.

The room was clean and breakfast was good, but there was no owner on site. Caterers arrived at 7:30am, so it didn't feel like a real Irish B&B experience.
