The room was cozy and very clean, and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast. My husband David and I stayed at the Coachman’s Townhouse in mid October 2025. It’s a small family run gastropub hotel with a fantastic atmosphere and food. We had fish chowder for dinner, along with Guinness. Siobhan, the owner, runs the place incredibly efficiently and knows a lot about whiskey and the hospitality business. We’d recommend this hotel 100%. Thanks so much!

Our Vagabond group had a wonderful stay. The staff were attentive and so much fun to talk to, and the meals were absolutely delicious. The rooms have been beautifully remodeled and were very comfortable. I hope we make it back to Ireland someday, and this hotel will definitely be on our return list.

Right in the heart of Kenmare, this was a fantastic place to stay. Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. The bar and dining room downstairs served great meals and a nice breakfast, and the staff were all friendly and attentive. There’s often live music from local musicians in the evenings. Parking is available on site and on the street; if those spots are full, there’s a free public lot just a block away.

We had a fabulous meal at the Coachmans, with delicious food and excellent service. They were really accommodating and made my son a child’s portion of a dish from the adult menu. We also enjoyed the great musicians playing during the meal. Highly recommend!

The staff and servers couldn’t have been friendlier, and the musicians were talented. My wife and I came for dinner and music in early May, and had a delightful Irish evening. We both ordered roast turkey with sides and brown gravy, which felt like a delicious Thanksgiving feast a little early. I’d highly recommend Coachman's for dinner, drinks, and live entertainment.
