Kenmare can get pretty lively at night for a small town, so we were glad to be a short walk outside the main area. It was easy to get to everything, then come back to a peaceful night’s sleep. We loved the spacious room and this adorable country-style home surrounded by greenery. Our host was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend this gem.
Kathleen made sure we were comfortable during our peaceful stay in Kenmare. There was a lovely selection of herbal teas and snacks, including mini muffins, at the tea and coffee area. Thanks, Kathleen. Hopefully we’ll get back to Kenmare to explore more someday! Hannah and Alexi
The rooms are large and comfortable, with ensuite bathrooms. It’s a five-minute walk to the center of Kenmare, and there’s a big parking area that can fit cars and small campers. The golf club and forest are just across the road.
We stayed just one night. Breakfast wasn’t included, but there was a tea station with fruit and snacks. Our hostess even agreed to toast gluten-free bread for my friend, who has celiac disease.
Kathleen is a lovely host, and the place was spotless. Tea, coffee and snacks were available too. The only issues were that the sheets and quilts need updating, as I got a bit cold overnight, and the TV was on the blink. We’ll definitely be back. Keep up the great work, Kathleen.
