The owners were welcoming and accommodating, and gave us good suggestions for local pubs and places to visit around Kilkenny. Our room was clean and had enough space for three, while the en-suite stayed clean and had plenty of hot water for all three showers. There’s ample parking on site, and the city centre is an easy walk away. A wonderful B&B, and we’ll stay again next time we’re in Kilkenny.

We had to take separate rooms last night. They were clean enough, but the WiFi was awful. Breakfast was meant to be at 8.30. We waited 15 minutes and nobody came to serve us, so we left. We’re in construction and would have headed out earlier if we’d known they couldn’t be bothered to provide the breakfast we’d paid for.

It’s only a few minutes from everything in the city, and the price was very reasonable for this standard of B&B. The place was spotless and warm, the welcome was lovely, and breakfast was a hearty one. I’d happily stay again. Makes you wonder why people pay over the top for hotels.

Stefan and his dad, who own the B&B, made us feel very welcome. We had a great stay in their lovely, really clean place. The breakfast was tasty and very filling.

The staff were lovely, and they’re big hurling fans. The rooms were clean and breakfast in the morning was just right. It’s also a perfect spot if you’re going to a function at the Newpark, directly across the road from the hotel.
