Laragh House

We had a big breakfast with coffee, tea and juice, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The place was spotless and had everything I needed. It's in a good location, about a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre, so taxis weren't necessary for us. Would happily stay again, thanks.

The staff were so helpful, gave us useful information, and their recommendations made for a great night out. Price, service and location were all just right, really everything you'd want. Thanks for a great visit to Kilkenny. We'll stay here again next time we're in the area.

We had a hearty breakfast and a large, very clean room during our one-night stay at Laragh House in April, while touring Ireland. Helen welcomed us so warmly and was really kind and accommodating. She also took time to share tips for seeing the city. I'd happily come back one day and highly recommend Helen's B&B in Kilkenny.

Helen was helpful with suggestions and made sure I had a scent-free room. She also cooked a made-to-order hot breakfast with gf toast. The room was comfortable and very clean, as was the breakfast room. It's a quaint older guest house, so the floors creak and the door keys rattle, which could bother a light sleeper. The room itself was charming, with a four-poster bed and ensuite. It's about a 20-minute walk to Kilkenny Castle and downtown. We booked one night and wished we'd booked two.
