Newpark Hotel

The restaurant was a highlight for breakfast and dinner, with deep green seating, atmospheric lighting, and an impressive wine display. Around the hotel, the wooden finishes, stylish lift, and well-kept corridors gave it a warm, classic feel. I also liked the character of the common areas and the thoughtful touches in the room, including nicely presented glasses and bottled water. There was a visible scuff on the bedside table. It didn’t affect our comfort, but touching it up would make the room feel fully maintained. We had a very enjoyable stay and would happily return.

Jurassic Park was a nice way to spend a couple of hours, especially when the weather was bright and dry. The hotel itself is great for families, with a roomy, welcoming lobby and large, comfortable family rooms. Breakfast was a delight, and the staff were exceptional throughout.

I’ll never forget how much the staff helped us during a stressful time. At 2:30am, my husband became very sick and needed to go to the ER. The front desk employee immediately helped arrange a taxi so he could get to the hospital safely. The next morning, the manager, Marissa (I hope I’ve spelled her name correctly), checked on me and asked how I was doing. She kindly looked after my two children while I was at the hospital with my husband, making sure they were comfortable and had enough to eat. Warren also helped arrange another room for us for the night, which made things much easier. I’m so grateful we stayed at Newpark Hotel. The compassion and support meant more than words can express.

We booked the Hotel almost two years ahead of our November 2025 wedding at the New Park. There was always someone available to contact with questions along the way. Staff changed a little over time, but the process stayed consistent and the replacements settled in seamlessly. The reception, meal, service, and facilities, including the pool and open spaces, were second to none. The extremely helpful staff were there at every stage. Mr Flynn himself was often around when we visited, which really reflected the Hotel’s description as a 'Family Run Hotel'. Thank you for having us, Darragh and Katie.
