We loved this place. After a stressful drive up the coast, we arrived much too early. Linda invited us in, made us coffee, and got our room ready. She also gave us great advice for the two days we were there. The next morning, the owner Jim made a delicious breakfast and shared useful tips for our drive up to Galway. The view is incredible, the beds were comfy, and the bathroom was great. We used Uber to get into town since staying in town is so expensive. If you have a car, it's a really ideal place to set off north.

Jim and Myra's hospitality is what made this place special. It had a real at-home feel, just with a Premium+ package. The place is cozy and five minutes from Killarney, with spectacular mountain views. Their great advice on our itinerary made the trip even more rewarding. If you're looking for a base for your journey, or a comfy bed to recover after a hike or long drive, The Gorman's B&B is the place. It was a pleasure being your guest. Warm regards!

The beds were so comfortable, and everything was spotless. We had all the basics we needed in the room, including a TV, en suite, kettle and desk, and breakfast was great too. My twin brother and I called last week, heard a room was ready and went straight over. From the moment we arrived, the lovely woman and her dad treated us like family. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Ireland. A rare little gem.

Jim made some really helpful suggestions and adjustments to our Killarney plans, and he was an attentive, funny host, at least to our taste. Gorman's is a proper B&B in a house, with several bedrooms and breakfast served in the dining room, with a few choices on offer. It’s about 20 minutes from Killarney National Park and handy to supermarkets, a petrol station and coin-operated laundry. Jim, I hope you’ve tried the Banoffee pie at Laurel's. Take Moira on a date!

The place has a lovely quaint Ireland feel, and I’d happily stay again and recommend it. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable, parking was good, and breakfast was excellent. It’s a little outside town, but only an easy 5 km by car or taxi. Our hosts were the real highlight, upbeat and friendly, and Jim was witty, full of humor and a pleasure to talk with. It is a bit dated in small ways, like the small TV and lack of plugs or USB outlets. Minor things, but if you expect a very modern four-star stay, this may not be for you.
