Lake Lodge Guesthouse

Marie is one of the sweetest, kindest people we've met. She made sure we were comfortable and even gave us homemade sweets for the road. The breakfast was fantastic, generous portions and great quality, enough to keep us going most of the day. Our room was clean, with fresh towels and linen. My girlfriend and I had a great four-night stay, and the guesthouse is only five minutes from the town centre, with lots of restaurants nearby. It's a really convenient location. We'll definitely return to Killarney and recommend staying here.

Breakfast was a real treat, especially the delicious scones, and the rooms were immaculate with lovely chocolate waiting for us. The proprietors were so welcoming. We had a perfect stay and will definitely be back soon ☘️

The host made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, and the location was great. She packed us enough food and water for our Kerry Way hiking day, and breakfast was super. We’re looking forward to finishing the hike and returning to Lake Lodge in 10 days. Terrific stay, highly recommend. Thanks!

Marie made my return to Ireland feel like coming home. I moved away 10 years ago and came back for a holiday in May, and she made sure I ate well and pointed me toward the best places to see. Each morning I could choose Irish breakfast or pancakes, with cereals and yogurts also available. Marie even insisted I take energy bars and scones for the road. My room was clean, comfortable, and tidied while I was out. Such good value for the personal care and service. I’ll stay at Lake Lodge Guesthouse again when I’m back in Killarney.
