I had a cozy room, delicious breakfast, and a breathtaking view of the lake and mountains at this charming country house. On my first trip to Ireland in September 2025, Annette, Paul, and their wonderful staff welcomed me warmly. As a solo traveler, I really valued feeling safe and cared for, and they made the place feel like home. I especially remember coming back soaked after summiting Carrauntoohil on my second day. Annette greeted me with warmth and relief and immediately offered a hot cup of tea. Her sincerity touched me deeply. I've been meaning to write this review, and wholeheartedly recommend the place. I can't wait to return on my next visit.

We loved our September honeymoon stay here. The owners were very friendly, the location was amazing, and both dinner and breakfast were really tasty. It was a high point of the trip, and we'll definitely come back in the future.

The owners were so welcoming, and even helped us track down and get hold of a local whisky we’d been looking for. The rooms are really good for the price, and the view is amazing on its own. If you’re around Killarney, this is an excellent place to stay. I’d highly recommend it.

The room was spotless and looked out over the lake, and breakfast was really good, especially the waffles. We arrived late, and Clovis made us a fresh pot of tea. He was also our bartender for a few nightcaps. Annette was a great host, and Clovis is a lovely young man. Such a great place to stay.

We felt thoroughly spoiled by Paul and Annette, who were wonderful hosts. The view was spectacular, with the lake and mountains out front and a lovely sheep farm behind. Our room was gorgeous and very clean, and the decor throughout was so tasteful and sweet. This was our favorite place to stay in Ireland. I can’t say enough good things, and I’m grateful for a wonderful stay.
