Ryebrook House

It’s a very quiet location, and the walk into Killarney town takes about 30 minutes. The rooms are simple but really clean, with modern en-suite bathrooms. As other reviews mention, there’s no shampoo, but it’s nice to finally find a place that provides a face flannel! There’s parking on site, and Mary is a lovely hostess. I’d stay again.

Breakfast had a great range of choices, and you’re given an allocated table in the shared dining room. The beds were very comfortable, and our twin room had tea and coffee facilities and space for suitcases. There’s a nice shared lounge and a lovely porch as you come into reception, with beautiful flowers in the front gardens. The hosts were lovely. It’s not far from town, which has plenty to see and do and a good selection of restaurants for dinner.

We had a large, exceptionally clean and comfortable room with a wonderful bed and good amenities. Breakfast was excellent, and the hostess made us feel very welcome. Parking is limited, though the B&B is close to town and its facilities, as well as Ashford Castle and Ashford House. Highly recommend.

The rooms are very simple, which was just what we needed, and they were checked every day. It’s a lovely, quiet place to stay. Mary was so friendly and polite, chatting with all the guests as she served breakfast. The food was lovely too.
