The Harp Bed and Breakfast

Joan’s warm welcome put me at ease right away. I was a bit worried, for personal reasons, that my break might be difficult, but I felt at home as soon as I arrived. I spent four nights at The Harp B&B and was very happy with the experience. It’s extremely comfortable, and the bedrooms are immaculate. There’s an extensive breakfast menu, and the food is served and presented really well. I’m sure The Harp is one of Killarney’s best B&Bs, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Joan helped us with transport, suggested places to go and eat, and gave us maps for the town and our countryside trips. She made our family feel right at home. Her made-to-order breakfasts were delicious, especially the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, which I got hooked on. We used The Harp as our base for four nights while exploring the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula, Killarney National Park, and other scenic spots around County Kerry. It’s a lovely B&B, beautifully decorated, quiet, and impeccably clean, with a living room/library and cookies, coffee, and tea. Our ensuite room was comfortable, with a modern bathroom and a large shower. Great value for the money, with wonderful accommodation and service. We’d love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting County Kerry.

Joan was so welcoming and friendly, and such a lovely person to meet. It’s easy to see why she’s been running this business for 22 years. Thank you, Joan, I’ll definitely be back. All the best for the future! I had two excellent nights at the Harp B&B in Killarney. The room was gorgeous, spotless, and very spacious, just how I like it, and the bed gave me two great nights of rest. The Full Irish breakfast was delicious and excellent quality, with a large jug of orange juice, which you don’t often get at a B&B. I also thought it was generous of Joan to provide good quality shampoo and conditioner in such good quantities.

The owner was so hospitable. One night, they brought us extra dishes when we had takeaway, and on our departure morning they even gave us a lift to the bus stop. We’d love to stay here again. It’s a quiet room about a ten-minute walk from the middle of town, and I enjoyed the skylight. Breakfast was upscale and delicious, especially the filling brown bread.
