Upton Court Hotel

Even Bev took care of a small baby so his mother could eat. That was the kind of service we received at our wedding on 8/8/2025: the food and service were second to none, and the day was amazing. Shane was easy to work with from beginning to end, and nothing was too much trouble. I can't praise him and the staff at the Upton court enough. Thank you, Shane, Cathy, and everyone else.

The hotel could use a makeover, since the decor feels a bit dated, though it didn't bother us. We ate in the bar on two evenings, and even with a bit of a wait, the food was worth it. No complaints about that. We were there for four days for the Fleadh. The staff were friendly and helpful, and when we had to leave early, they arranged continental breakfast for us on two mornings since the regular breakfast didn't start until 9am. We'd stay again.

The bed wasn't very comfortable, and the rooms are looking a bit tired and could do with a revamp. The staff, though, were wonderful and the food was really good.

The ballroom had room for our cake, selfie mirror, band, and dancing, and the bridal room was beautiful and spacious, with a double jacuzzi bath. We also took some lovely photos at Wells House, a short drive from the hotel. The house and grounds made a stunning backdrop. On Friday 29th August 2025, we had our wedding at The Upton Court Hotel. Shane and Beverley were brilliant from the planning right through to the day. They were professional, friendly, and quick to respond, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was right for us. Shane checked in several times to see that we were okay and happy with how things were going, which we really appreciated. The hotel staff made sure everyone was looked after, and the warm atmosphere and teamwork meant we could just enjoy every moment. The food was amazing, and dietary requirements were handled without any problem. We received so many compliments about the hotel, the food, and the staff. Beverley and Shane, thank you for making the day so memorable. We’re grateful for your help giving John and me such a magical wedding day.
