We stayed as a family and used four rooms, and I'd happily recommend it. The room had views across the rolling hills and sea, and the design felt modern and tasteful. There's also a lounge with board games and cards, plus a small kitchen area with a Nespresso machine, fridge, and toaster. We ate in Kinsale and had no trouble getting a taxi back that night for the set €25 fare. The beach is a short walk or drive away for a swim. Breakfast is bought separately at Bean & Berry onsite, and it was delicious.

The cafe next door was a handy place to eat, and the accommodation itself was spotless, comfortable, and in a great location. Richie and Aidan looked after us so well, going out of their way with warm hospitality and excellent service. We had a fantastic stay at The Blue Horizon in Garretstown. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We've returned to the Blue Horizon several times, usually for a few nights, and it's been a great experience every time. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the beds are really comfortable. Looking out over the sea is amazing, too. Bean and Berry Coffee House downstairs makes it easy to grab a good coffee, breakfast treat, or quick sandwich. Richie is always quick to reply and very helpful, and we appreciate how welcoming the service is. The location works well, close to Kinsale and only minutes from the charming village of Ballinspittle, with everything we need nearby. We love it here and can't wait to return.

The quiet was just what we needed, even though there isn't much to do nearby. We picked up some snacks, watched the waves, and went for a lovely walk along the cliffs. The ocean view was breathtaking, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We only spent one night here on our way toward the Ring of Kerry, but it became the most memorable night of the trip. Thanks to Trevor for such a warm, friendly welcome. We'd love to stay longer next time.

We were met by Richard, a very helpful employee who made sure check-in went smoothly. The place runs as a self-service hotel, with no formal reception, and you use an easy-to-download digital key to get into the property and your room. Our room, number 2, was very clean, with a fantastic sea view and comfortable beds. It's a great stop on the Wild Atlantic Way. Breakfast next door at The Bean and Berry was excellent, don't miss it.
