We had no complaints about the room, and the house itself is nice with a stunning view. The WiFi wasn’t great, but that was fine since we were enjoying the scenery and had a lovely dinner at the nearby hotel. The problem came at night: the owner talked with someone in the entry hall downstairs until 2 a.m. Noise carries in this old house, and we couldn’t sleep even though we had a big day ahead. After three hours of constant noise, he finally got off the phone just as I was about to go downstairs and ask for some quiet. We were very disappointed that the stay ended on that sour note, especially since we’d been very happy when we arrived.

Knightstown was an easy stroll away, and the sea felt so close. I said the place was only missing a dog, then Bella, a gorgeous black lab, came running over. Our room was a good size, the bed was really comfortable, and the view from the or was amazing. Breakfast wasn’t too big as a full Irish. We absolutely loved it here and would recommend it and return.

We added this memorable stop to the Ring of Kerry to take a break and explore nearby sights. The location is incredible, the service top-notch, and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.

The host was so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. It’s a lovely old building, with great rooms that are nicely decorated and have a great view :)

Valentia feels like paradise. This was my second visit, and the beautiful old-style house is a must-see. Great location, and kieran is a great host.
