We brought our dog and had no problems at all, everything was taken care of. Alan even offered the use of his EV charger, which was a lovely extra. He was a wonderful host from the start, explaining what to see and do nearby. Breakfast was excellent, and the view was one of the best I’ve ever seen, honestly breathtaking. Highly recommended!

There’s a relaxed, chilled-out feel to the place, and the breakfast was delicious. We stayed in September and had a lovely time. The room was warm, cozy, and lovely, and the views are gorgeous. Alan is really sound. Thanks, Alan, hope to come back sometime 😊

We had everything we needed, from a clean room and comfortable bed to lovely tea and breakfast. The service was top-notch, and our host welcomed us so warmly. The view over the sea and lighthouse is amazing. We hope to return.

Alan was such a kind, generous, funny, and attentive host. I loved meeting him. We stayed for three nights, and it’s a perfect base for seeing the extraordinary beauty and rich history of Valentia Island and the surrounding Iveragh Peninsula. The view was beautiful, and there were warm blankets on the balcony in the main lounge and breakfast area for stargazing. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean. Breakfast was yummy, plentiful, and served quickly. I truly hope, and am planning, to return one day :)
