Waterford Marina Hotel

Only stayed one night, but the food was delightful. The room was cozy and put together really well. Everyone from the front desk to the bar staff was fantastic, helpful and funny.

The location made getting around easy, with restaurants, shops and public transport nearby, and the hotel stayed quiet inside. Breakfast had plenty of tasty options, and staff kept it stocked and organised. My room was surprisingly spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was cozy, the shower pressure was good, and everything felt fresh and cared for. It was a nice place to unwind after a long day. The hotel has a bright, relaxed feel, and the friendly staff made everything easy from the minute I walked in. Check-in was quick and everyone I spoke to was welcoming and helpful. A really enjoyable stay, and I’d happily come back. Nothing to complain about.

The location is ideal, just a couple of minutes’ walk from town shops, bars and restaurants. The bar and restaurant overlook the water, which makes for a lovely spot. We tried the Thai curry and beef stew, both lovely. Rooms, lobby and reception were all very clean, and the staff at reception and in the restaurant were really friendly. They make all the difference. A perfect hotel for a trip to Waterford.

We’ve eaten in the bar with family many times, and it’s been lovely every time. The food is very good and the atmosphere pleasant. A big shout-out to Bernadette in the bar, who goes above and beyond for us. We can’t praise her enough!
