Silver Tassie Hotel & Spa

The bar service was excellent, and the staff were very attentive to my mum’s needs. I brought her for a night away and booked the wheelchair-friendly room. We were delighted with the room layout and the fully equipped accessible bathroom. We’ll definitely be back!! 100%.

We keep coming back to Silver Tassie with fondness. It also looked after us well during a short lunch stop on the way to Sligo, and our overnight stay on Halloween night was lovely. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed, so it was easy to relax after a happy family gathering. The food and drinks were fantastic, full of flavour and beautifully presented. Staff went above and beyond to welcome us, with friendly, attentive service and a festive touch to the evening. Highly recommend it for great food, warmth and genuine hospitality.

I had one of the nicest lamb dinners I’ve eaten in ages. The premises were clean throughout, right from the door to the bathroom. Staff were courteous, polite and helpful, especially with some older customers. They carried dinners to the table and even got a cushion for one person. It was lovely to see.

I got married here on 03/01/2024, and things were good then. But today, when I came to book a room for our second wedding anniversary on 03/01/26, I wasn’t happy with how the receptionist dealt with me. She said there was only one room available and that she was busy. I accepted that, but when I asked about another room, it felt as if she didn’t want to help or take the booking. I hope I’ve misunderstood, but I didn’t feel I was treated fairly. 2/1/26 17:15 pm.
