The room was lovely, with nice river views, and the location is handy for town and buses. I’d booked the wrong night by mistake, but the staff helped me out and sorted it easily.

Breakfast was cooked fresh in the bar and was delicious, and the food we had there was very tasty. The room had a lovely view, was warm, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and it’s in a great location. I’d happily stay again.
The rooms are spotless, and both reception and bar staff are welcoming, friendly and professional. The food is fantastic, and the hotel is well located within the city. It works well for families as well as corporate stays.
Around 9 PM, we were asked to leave early because our baby was crying. That felt rude and unprofessional, and families should be treated with understanding. The food, service and hospitality were all very poor, and we won’t be back. We ordered a full main course of wings, but were served two small portions and still charged a high price. Getting drinks took a very long time, and the staff weren’t friendly or welcoming. It was the worst experience I’ve had at Limerick City Hotel.
The staff were excellent when they were available. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but Google Maps brought us to the uninspiring back entrance. The walk to the city centre was longer than we’d have liked.
