Helen was a fabulous host, kind, friendly, available, and knowledgeable about things to do in Limerick. The place is quiet and only a short walk from the city centre. Our room was clean and cosy, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked well apart from a few sockets, though there were plenty of others. Breakfast had a wide choice of food and drinks. I only stayed one night, but would have enjoyed staying longer.

Breakfast was well served, and the place is convenient for the city, about a five-minute walk. But the accommodation was below par. Our room was on the top floor and smelled musty. The bathroom had carpet for some reason, and there was hardly any water pressure in either the sink or shower. The shower head was broken, so showering was almost impossible, especially with just a trickle of water.

Helen, the owner, was so friendly and did everything she could to make the stay more enjoyable. The place is close to the town centre and near the river, the castle, pubs, and other things.
