Castle View No 1

The cottage stayed bright and relaxing even with damp weather outside. The glass conservatory makes the space feel airy and atmospheric, and its sliding doors lead onto a lawn with sheltered seating spots that help with the inevitable breeze off the shore. The kitchen opens off the living area and has everything needed, including a dishwasher. Downstairs there’s a large double bedroom with an ensuite shower and garden-facing windows. Upstairs are two twin rooms, each with its own ensuite. The laundry room by the front door has a washer, a separate condenser dryer, and plenty of room for wet coats and boots. I spent a week here at the end of May and couldn’t fault the place. I’ll definitely come back, probably in autumn, to enjoy the open fire.
