Bellbridge House Hotel

We'd been stuck at Shannon airport for over 14 hours after flight diversions and cancellations, and this was the closest hotel with availability. The night porter greeted us warmly at 2:30am, checked us in, and said we could sleep a little past checkout since we'd been awake for more than 30 hours. The rooms were cozy and clean, with extremely comfortable beds. When I got up, I had an amazing Sunday roast. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

During the Willie Clancy Festival, my jeep broke down right outside the Bellbridge, and I was in a real bind. Helena and the team helped get it sorted and made sure I had somewhere to stay that night. Her empathy, positivity, and knack for solving problems really impressed me. A stressful mishap turned into a fantastic week-long stay. The hotel is in a great spot, just a short walk from Spanish Point, which is incredible for surfing. Warm hospitality and an unbeatable setting. Highly recommended!

We stopped for coffee and a scone and found the place had a real homely feel. The man behind the bar, a Galway man, was very courteous. It seems like a lovely place to stay. Hopefully we'll get to come back sometime in the not too distant future.

The bar was nice and the food was good, but the bed was terrible and there was a bad draft from the window. I told the receptionist I wasn't happy, and she said all the rooms were the same, then left it at that. €220 for that. Terrible.
