We came here from the US in 2018 and had a truly magical stay. It felt like a boutique experience beside a storybook seaside town, with beautiful views in every direction, green surroundings and lots of history nearby. The facilities were cosy and the amenities were great. We hope we get to return someday!

The continental breakfast had everything we needed to start the day, and the rooms and shared spaces were spotlessly clean and comfortable. With things uncertain at the time, that was especially reassuring. The staff were brilliant and made our break really relaxing, which we appreciated so much. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the place and will be back soon. Thanks to everyone on staff.

We had the whole hostel to ourselves for two nights during a hen party of 16, and the hosts were incredibly warm and gracious. There was loads of space for everyone in the kitchen, plus a pool table and dart board in the games room and a library. We could use all the grounds, too, and got much appreciated cuddles from the cats who live there. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Rosatos and the main street, with plenty of parking. The place was super clean. I can’t fault it and will recommend it to anyone who’ll listen.

My wife was over the moon after our one-night stay. This old cottage has so much character, and the staff are lovely. It was clean, with first-class amenities, and you can tell they really care about the guest experience. It felt like home. Even though it’s called a hostel, it could easily hold its own against many hotels in this category. My wife couldn’t find the words to describe how amazing it was.

It’s only a few minutes on foot to central Moville, and the roads out of town make it easy to reach the other spots around the peninsula. We’ve already stayed here four or five times and will gladly do so again. We especially like the spacious green room, which opens through a little back door to a tiny woodland. The red Room has that feature too. The old barn has been converted into five rooms, a big shared kitchen and dining area, and a cosy TV and reading room with a sofa and blankets. The staff are cheerful, always seem happy to see you, and are glad to help with requests. 100% recommend.
