They’ve lost the contract and seem to expect things to go back to normal. I haven’t forgotten how they cancelled every booking, took down the website, and shut off the phone line, then accepted millions in taxpayer money from the government to house migrants. Traitors.

There’s lots to see nearby, especially if horse racing is your thing. We also had a really good breakfast, with generous portions, and the shower was great, though it was so powerful that the shower head kept flying off its holder. The room was large, bright, modern and clean. Even on a main road, it was quiet, and there was plenty of parking.

Parking was great, and the room was clean and comfortable, if a little small. The staff were excellent and breakfast was very good, though the plates were on the small side and the metal coffee jug was a disaster to pour. The one real annoyance was guests having a loud conversation right outside our bedroom door at 3 am.

I enjoyed my three nights here. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a TV and a super modern bathroom with a great shower.

We were so pleased with our stay at Ma Dwyers. The welcome was warm, the room was spacious, spotless and comfortable, and the beds were really comfy. Breakfast was delicious and generous. The car park is locked overnight, but a night guard lets residents in. I’d happily recommend the place.
