Meadow View B&b

After a good night’s sleep in our spotless, comfortable room, we had a delicious breakfast with plenty of choices for our group’s different dietary needs. Our room was in a separate building, which made it feel like a private little retreat. The host was considerate and helped us arrange the next part of our travels, with lots of small thoughtful gestures along the way. The grounds were such a peaceful place to recover from a tiring journey. There’s a spacious paved drive, lovely cared-for planting, and several patio spots to sit and unwind. We really appreciated the warm conversation and hope we can come back someday.

We had to leave very early, so we missed breakfast, though I’d be surprised if it wasn’t amazing. The evening before, tea, coffee and sweets were available in the living room if you wanted to relax before bed. The town is about a ten minute drive away, and getting to Dublin airport at 4 am took around 45 minutes with hardly any traffic. It was a lovely morning drive with a cup of coffee. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and you could tell they care about their B&B and guests. Our room was comfortable, very clean and had its own bathroom and shower. We loved the place and would definitely stay again, especially before a morning flight from Dublin.

When we arrived, her husband gave us a lovely welcome, recommended a great restaurant, and even offered to drive us there if we wanted to have a couple of drinks. We really enjoyed his recommendation. Highly recommend this B&B!

The host was very accommodating and even packed fruit for our 4 am airport trip. The drive was an easy 40 minutes. Our room was large, very clean, and had an en-suite bathroom. The grounds are kept meticulously. A wonderful place to stay.
