We picked this little country house for a New Year's anniversary getaway and had such a lovely stay. The hosts were welcoming, and the warm fireplace made the place feel cozy and homey even in the winter cold. It has an old-fashioned Irish feel, and the location is quiet and not too crowded, with a nice little village nearby to visit. I'd recommend it if you're visiting Limerick, the Cliffs of Moher, Shannon, or the surrounding area.

We only stayed one night at Carrygerry Country House in Shannon, County Clare, but it was a memorable visit. The quiet countryside, green scenery, gentle mountains, and lovely views made it feel restful, and waking up there was a real pleasure. The house has traditional charm with modern comforts; our room was clean, well kept, and comfortable, and the peaceful setting suited a family looking to get away from city life. The staff welcomed us warmly and were friendly, polite, attentive, and personal from the start. Having a restaurant and bar in the house was convenient too. The restaurant was cozy and welcoming, and we could relax with a drink in the bar without going elsewhere. We had an excellent stay and would happily return. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Shannon area.

The restaurant alone is worth a visit. Everything we tried was delicious, and they use locally sourced ingredients. The setting is beautiful too, with walks nearby and both Ennis and Shannon close by. My husband and I had a lovely time, and we'll definitely be back. I can't recommend this Country House highly enough.

It was so peaceful and beautiful here. I was shown to my room in person when I arrived, and they surprised me with a free upgrade. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I had a wonderful stay!

Such a cute place, and the staff were so sweet. The fireplace made it feel extra cozy. I couldn't imagine spending my last night anywhere else, and the pictures really say it all.
