Dunbrody Country House Hotel

Saturday dinner was a real highlight, delicious food and a lively feel with the restaurant full. The meals throughout our stay were carefully made, and the wine selection was excellent. Breakfast was just as memorable, especially the full Irish, which is a must. The house has such a cosy, elegant atmosphere, with fires glowing and plenty of places to unwind after a week at work. From arrival, the staff were warm and showed us around the facilities and bars, which was especially helpful as first timers. Everyone was attentive and friendly throughout, and we felt at home straight away. A lovely stay from start to finish.

The food was fabulous, and the house itself is full of charm. Lovely staff and a great spa too. Hope I get to come back.

The lodges would work really well for a bridal party or groomsmen, and the hotel rooms are gorgeous. We stayed before our wedding, which was in a nearby town, and Dunbrody let us take photos at the hotel and have our suite ready early so we could get ready there. Harry was incredibly helpful arranging it all. The hotel is beautiful, and the food and drinks were great. We also ate in the local, and that was superb.

Dinner was stunning and just the right size, and Debbi served me a perfect Pint of Guinness. She looked after us wonderfully for both nights, always friendly and efficient, and nothing was too much trouble. The bar and restaurant service were excellent. My wife and I had a very welcoming weekend from the start. The house looks beautiful when you arrive, and reception greeted us pleasantly. We were shown to a high quality room with a comfortable bed and fantastic shower. We’d happily recommend staying at Dunbrody Country House Hotel.
