After breakfast we took a lovely little walk along Rathmullen beach, and I’m already looking forward to our next visit. My Mother and I stayed for a night recently and had dinner too. It was one of the best experiences of my life, and we enjoyed every bite. Our room was beautiful and clean, while the staff were professional, welcoming, and down to earth.

The food was excellent, and the staff were attentive and friendly. We spent a few days there between Christmas and New Year. The one thing I missed was Christmas decorations, both inside and outside. It’s a beautiful place to stay.

We had dinner one evening and it was fabulous, well worth it. The breakfast and cappuccinos were fabulous too, and the staff were super nice. The views are gorgeous, with the beach right nearby. Our room and bathroom were both very nice and big, and the beds were comfy. Great quality and value.

We had an issue with a fire alarm going off at night, but the hotel quickly compensated us for the inconvenience. The restaurant staff were absolutely delightful, and the two or three course meals were top-notch, even if pricey. Our bedroom was large, and the bathroom was huge, with an old-fashioned tub on feet. It’s a beautiful old house in a lovely location, though a little out of the way. We probably won’t be back for a couple of years, but we’ll certainly consider returning at some point.

The restaurant has an old-world feel, and the chefs are two of the best in Ireland by a long mile. Staff were very warm and friendly, without any pretension. The house is spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the peaceful bedroom decor suits a quiet romantic getaway perfectly. Highly recommended.
