My Dad stayed at Sunville House on a friend’s recommendation and came away saying it was good value, truly enjoyable, and somewhere he’d happily recommend to anyone visiting Shanagarry, Garryvoe or Ballycotton. He stayed from the 16th to the 18th of April and felt completely at home with Anna and Paddy Casey. The house sits in a large garden overlooking the rolling hills of East Cork, a few kilometers from the picturesque fishing village of Ballycotton. Anna greeted him warmly, showed him to a very spacious bedroom and offered tea and homemade scones after his long trip from Galway. Each morning there was a lovely cooked breakfast with plenty of choice, from poached fruit and Irish salmon to Irish bacon, freshly homemade brown bread and scones, and freshly brewed coffee. The room was spacious and the view was lovely. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was the best we had in our month in Ireland. I’d definitely recommend this place.

We had a great two-night stay, with a comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, and everything we might need. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice, all homemade and freshly prepared. Great coffee and delicious scones were available every day too.

A quiet, beautiful setting, and the best B&B we stayed at on our trip. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, especially the delicious fruit and yogurt with homemade jams. Thank you!

Anna and Paddy greeted me warmly and showed me around when I arrived. The views over the Irish countryside were beautiful and peaceful, and East Cork has lots to explore nearby. My room was very comfortable and quiet, with a nicely stocked bathroom. Breakfast was amazing, with yummy scones, brown bread, freshly cooked entrees to choose from and great coffee. It was a wonderful oasis.
