We booked at the last minute and they had no trouble fitting us in. Our host was really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious, cooked fresh for the time we chose. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed felt a bit small to us, though we're used to a king size. There's a pub across the road for food and drinks.

The mattress was excellent, and the room had a nice homely feel. Breakfast was good and the host was friendly. It's ideally placed for the airport and the Wild Atlantic Way. My only gripe was the bath towels. They were fine, but for the price I'd have liked thicker ones.

The house has a lovely Victorian look with some modern touches, and Dawn is such a sweetheart. Breakfast was freshly made and beautifully presented. It's also in a great spot, right beside The Old Lodge Gastro Pub, where the food is good and there's live music. I can't think of a better place to stay in Shannon.

We had a lovely night at Balally. Both the building and our room were impeccable, and breakfast was almost like a work of art. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking around Shannon.
