Park Inn by Radisson Shannon Airport

The hotel is only a few metres from the Departure terminal, and parking is free, which is a big plus. It's nicely decorated and has a warm, welcoming feel. The bar food was excellent, though a little pricey. Yulia at reception was friendly and professional.

The restaurant food was excellent, with plenty of choice, fresh ingredients and generous portions. Breakfast had everything I wanted, from hot dishes to pastries and fruit. My room was spotless and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet despite being so close to the airport. The bed was comfortable too, and I slept well. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout, which kept the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. The location is hard to beat, right across the road from the airport, so it works really well for an early flight or late arrival. I had a fantastic stay at the Park Inn by Radisson in Shannon and would happily stay again.

The food was great, and breakfast had a surprisingly wide selection, with a buffet plus made-to-order oat porridge and pancakes. It's a decent airport hotel, and the bedding was really comfortable, mattress, pillow and duvet. My issue was the room temperature. The heater is by the window, and the room felt too cool for me.

We've had dinner at this hotel several times, and each visit has been excellent. Mrs. Olya was especially attentive and sincere, and in our view she works as a manager or supervisor. She listened to what we wanted and served the steak cooked just the way we asked. The following day she was just as professional and kind. We're grateful for her service and hope the establishment has more employees like Mrs. Olya. Thank you!
