This was just the traditional Irish countryside B&B we wanted. Kathleen is incredibly sweet and made sure we had a wonderful stay. The rooms are cute, clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious and home-cooked. Abu the dog is an adorable greeter, though he doesn't go upstairs to the rooms. It's an easy 10 min drive into town. We'll definitely stay again.

We stayed at P.K. lodge from 11 to 14th May 2025. Kathleen was an excellent hostess and couldn't have been more helpful. The atmosphere was very nice, quiet and tranquil, and it was good value.

I urgently needed a place to stay, and luckily Kathleen had room for me at her lovely b&b, even at very late notice. The room was warm, cosy and clean, with a beautiful view. Breakfasts were generous and delicious, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Proper Irish hospitality. I'll miss Abu the dog, and I'll recommend this spot to everyone. I hope to be back soon.

The location was ideal, and our all-too-short stay was perfect. The en suite bedroom was spotlessly clean, with a really comfortable bed, and the owners were friendly and thoughtful. Breakfasts were delicious. Couldn't have been better! Jill & Michael

We had a wonderful two-night family stay at PK Lodge. Kathleen was an excellent hostess and couldn't do enough for us. The room was spacious and spotless, the dining area lovely, and breakfast tasty with a fine choice from the menu. If we're in West Cork again, we hope to stay here. Couldn't recommend it enough.
