The place has a beautiful atmosphere, and the food was top class. Service was excellent, with staff who were friendly and professional. It can feel lonely if you pop in alone for a pint, though. The bar staff don’t engage with customers who come in on their own.

I’ve eaten here a number of times while on holiday and found the prices decent for an upmarket hotel. The roast beef was some of the best I’ve had. Lovely staff, and an excellent hotel.

Very clean and pleasant, and right in the centre. When you’re looking for it, pay attention to the sign that says "Townhouse hostel".
