Oldtown Farmhouse

The place was spotless, and John made a great breakfast each morning. Mary and John were so welcoming and helpful throughout my two-night stay. I'd happily book with them again if I find myself back in Kilkenny.

It was quiet during our one-night stay, so the little B&B felt especially private. The owner was friendly and very helpful, which made the whole visit even nicer. It's a lovely, quaint spot in the countryside, conveniently close to Kilkenny. We'd highly recommend it for a country getaway.

After a delicious breakfast, Mary showed us around the nursery beside the house. She was absolutely lovely, and our room was cosy and perfectly clean. We had a great night at Oldtown Farmhouse. Though it's out in the countryside, Kilkenny and Kells are only a few minutes away by car.

Mary and John were such lovely hosts that by the end of our two nights, they felt like family. We were welcomed so warmly, and she went above and beyond to make us feel special, even bringing a nightcap each evening. She also showed us the circle fort on the property. We would've stayed longer if we hadn't been on a road trip. We absolutely love the place, and if you get the chance, don't miss it. It's the best on the island!
