Tralee Holiday Lodge

The location was perfect, right in the centre with shops and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Prices were reasonable, and the room was nice and clean, with everything we needed and more. The employees were so friendly. We had to leave one night early, and they prepared and packed food for us before we went. I can absolutely recommend it to everyone!

This was such a cozy, accommodating hostel. I loved having more independence here, since reception wasn't in your face during the stay. They provide linens and towels for free, a private bathroom, and plenty of outlets. Both the main entrance and bedroom doors lock, which is a huge plus. The location is great, very close to the town centre but far enough from the crowds walking around. Genuinely the best hostel I've stayed at in Europe. I'd book again without hesitation.

Matthew is a five star proprietor, so caring and kind, and he really goes out of his way to make sure guests have a nice stay. The hotel may be a two star establishment, but my room was clean and comfortable, and the price was affordable for a budget traveler like me. The rooms are simple but well appointed, nicely painted, and have what you need. Everything was spotless, and the other hotel staff were very nice and friendly too. I highly recommend staying here and will be back for sure. Thanks a mill, Matthew.

Hot water and clean rooms were the only positives for me. The walls were so thin that I could hear every conversation and toilet use from the neighbours. Wifi only worked in the lobby, and even there it disconnected every few minutes. Dinner was terrible, and breakfast was a very minimal continental spread. I wouldn't stay here again.
