Majestic Hotel

We had a lovely two night stay in the Lakeview Suite after our wedding in Tramore. It was such a treat to have a bit of luxury, with the room spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. They'd left us a complimentary bottle of prosecco and some delicious sweet treats, too. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the staff were approachable and helpful throughout our stay.

The staff were warm, welcoming and professional, and really carried on The Majestic's ethos. Our room had been upgraded to a large one with a balcony and sea view, a wonderful surprise. We spent time in the room enjoying the sunshine and the peace. Dinner was superb, and breakfast was a banquet. The hotel was spotless and has been upgraded for luxury and comfort while keeping its friendly family run feel. A welcome note and a special treat were left in the rooms for me and my friend, who was celebrating a big birthday. Thank you to all the staff, especially Lynda (manager). For the price, the room felt too old, even though it was clean. We were in 105, and the door was difficult to work out. My partner and I each had to try a few times to get in every night. The fire alarm went off at 1 am, and when we went down to reception several times for help because we couldn't get into the room, nobody was there. I had to poke my head into the office to find someone. Breakfast was average at best. The hot food, like scrambled eggs, bacon and mushrooms, was actually cold. The other choices, including cereal, fruit and bread, weren't varied. Needless to say, we won't be back.

My husband and I had a delightful stay in this beautiful hotel last night, 3rd of March. The location was beautiful, everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast this morning was really lovely. The whole experience had the wow factor. We will be back.
