The walk by the River Boyne to Trim Castle was beautiful, and Trim made a great base for day trips to sights and landmarks. Marcie Regan’s [Pub] serves drinks only, but it's worth joining in for Guinness and good company, especially on quiz night. Our hosts were fabulous, warm, helpful, and generous. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfasts delicious, and you want for nothing. Coming back will feel like coming home.

We were in Trim for a wedding and were so well looked after. Mary and Katie were really helpful and accommodating, and both mornings we had a delicious Irish breakfast. The rooms were immaculate and spacious. It's a warm, characterful house, and the town is an easy walk away. A trip to the castle is a must.

We were here for the Puca Festival and they treated us perfectly, even though we arrived late. The room was clean and comfortable, with a good view from the window. Breakfast was delicious and generous. I recommend it completely.

Mary was so welcoming and helpful. There was a big breakfast, plus plenty of fruit, seeds, and cereal beforehand. I'm vegan, and Mary had alternative milk and yogurt for me and made me a vegan fry. We stayed a few weeks ago for a wedding at Knightsbrook Hotel, just a 5-10 minute walk away. I think the town is walkable too, though we didn't go there on this visit. If I could give six stars, I would. Highly recommend.

The woman who runs the place is an amazing host, just what you hope for. She generously shares her food, tea, coffee, and time. I'd highly recommend staying here.
