The garden, with its flowers and vegetable patches, is beautifully cared for, and the house is spotless with very comfortable rooms. Rachel and Julian made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh eggs from the chickens, Rachel's homemade blackcurrant jam, and freshly baked scones. It was even better than the breakfast at our earlier hotel in Dublin. Julian's advice on routes and places to visit was spot on and helped make the trip memorable. We’ll definitely return to Five Ferns House. Thanks for such a lovely stay.

The homemade food was tasty and had plenty of variety, and the rooms and rest of the B&B were exceptionally clean. Julian and Rachelle bring a lot of hospitality experience to the place, and they made our stay a lovely one. It’s very close to Westport, so it felt like a comfortable home away from home. Keep up the good work.

The location was peaceful and felt safe, but we were still close to the town centre and main attractions. Our room was modern, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The host was so nice and attentive, and breakfast was delicious. Five Ferns House was spotless, warmly welcoming, and clearly well cared for. I had a wonderful two-night stay in Westport and would happily come back.

Rachel and Julian Caruana were so helpful and friendly. Rachel made delicious meals, and Julian took us to several interesting places and knows lots of history. The place was very clean and comfortable, with stunning views and a beautiful vegetable garden all around. I had a wonderful week at Five Ferns and now hope to visit again.

We walked into town in about 15 minutes, then got a taxi back later because it’s quite an uphill walk. Five ferns house was a lovely break on our western Ireland road trip. The house was clean, updated, and comfortable, and our hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re passing through Westport.
