The room had a couple of maintenance issues: there was a hole in one towel and another in the bedsheets. The hotel itself is beautiful, with several distinctive corners to explore. We booked a Deluxe room for a romantic getaway, but found it fairly small and dark. Upgrading to a suite cost an extra 600 NIS and made a big difference, with much more space, light, and a luxurious feel. Our package also included a massage and a tasting menu dinner at Uri Buri, which was phenomenal. Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight, rich and indulgent, with excellent service. The hotel does warn about the Muezzin, but the call began at around 5:30 AM during our stay. Unless you plan to join the morning prayers, expect a very early wake-up.

Every room seems to have its own story, and the restoration is stunning. The hotel feels like a work of art. The wine cellar is great, too!

The breakfast was one of the best we've had, and the hotel itself is beautiful, with a spacious, very clean room. Everyone was welcoming and ready to help, from reception to the dining room and spa staff. Best hotel and vacation I've ever had in Israel.
