A fun, challenging place, and I enjoyed it a lot.

I still have the medal from the first Ashdod Race. I was about 12, give or take, when it started from the nearby beach, with thousands of children, teenagers and adults taking off together. I began at an easy jog while most people went fast, then picked up my pace around halfway. I saved the fast running for near the end and passed people who were already worn out. I finished first, or at least was easily among the leaders, and got the winner's medal at the ceremony with the other two people on the podium. I moved to Ashdod with my family in 1964, when I was a little boy, and loved growing up there and playing like the other kids. Max Maxim Dadon.

We found it peaceful and comfortable, with a lovely big pool. The food was so good I don't even know what to say. The owners are the nicest, and really friendly. We recommend it highly. ๐คฝโโ๏ธ๐
