Isrotel Ganim

The indoor pool and spa were wonderful, and we found the dining room service especially fabulous. The food tasted good, and the hotel delivered the excellent service we’ve come to expect from Isrotel. We had a lovely family holiday here. The free Ein Bokek beach is just across the street.

The spa treatments were very good and reasonably priced, though the saltwater pools and jacuzzis felt too small. Staff, apart from reception, were attentive and friendly. Our room had lovely light and a great Dead Sea view during the day, but it was dark in the evening and lacked proper reading lights. We also got three different answers about when the spa opened, and there were no signs with schedules or activity information. The room floor was slippery. Still, it was a nice hotel.

The elevators barely worked, especially on Saturday, and the food was restricted by crazy Orthodox rules, like no coffee on Saturday. When we arrived, there was no guest parking left, so I was sent to park by the nearby McDonald's. The cleaner took away bottles from our room that weren't empty, and the front desk said we could buy replacements. I also left a laptop bag in the lobby and it disappeared within seconds. Security refused to check the cameras.

We were there at the end of August, a family of five, and booked two rooms with a connecting door on half board. The kids had activities every evening, and there was a cute room with board games, crafts, and PlayStation stands. Across the street are two air-conditioned malls. The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the staff were polite and particularly kind to the children. The food had plenty of variety and tasted good. We loved the atmosphere.
