Addar

We had a peaceful, comfortable stay at the Addar hotel and felt at home during our last two days there. We could choose a room with a large balcony facing the garden, and there was a kettle for making tea or coffee. The rooms were decent, with working toilets and heaters. We met guests from Europe and Asia, so it was a diverse crowd. The location was excellent for someone new to the area, with St. George Cathedral 2 mt away, Damascus gates 20 mts away, and supermarkets, restaurants, the tram and a bus station nearby. We were lucky to spend Christmas together in Jerusalem this year, and the staff at Addar hotel helped make it memorable. I'd recommend it for a decent stay at a reasonable price.

The breakfast was horrible, and the hotel was pricey. For the same price I found a really good hotel in the city center. The room itself was dirty and dusty, impossible to sleep in, with a broken TV and no wifi. You could hear everything from the other rooms. It looked like the hotel hadn't been renovated in 30 years, and the Booking pictures are fake, probably using pictures of the suite. My stay was a real nightmare. I'll let you judge the pictures for yourself. Don't go there.
