We booked after arriving in the city and ended up having a more than great two days. The price matched the quality, and the location is right in the center. From the small balcony you can really feel Jerusalem breathing. We're simple guests and pay more attention to the overall experience than little details, so maybe we're not the best reviewers for some travelers. We felt great here. The city is alive and noisy early and late, and we love that.

The room was disgustingly dirty, and the balcony was covered in bird poop. There was hair on the pillows too. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience made me feel very unsafe. On my last day I found that the door didn't really lock. Even after locking it with the key, trying the handle opened it. I had seen an earlier Booking review about the doors, and the owners had said they'd repair the problem. As of April 2025, it still wasn't fixed. On day two, someone who knew the code came and looked for the key. I know because I'd changed the digits after taking the key out of the lock and closed the latch so no one could see the code. When I returned, the latch was open and the code had been entered, which suggests someone had searched for the key to get in. Luckily, they didn't try the door, because it would have opened. I told the hotel contact. At first they didn't understand, and after I explained, they stopped replying. It was a very disappointing stay. Book at your own risk.

They were very responsive, and the place matched its description. I loved the central location, which was still quiet at night, and the bed was comfortable. There's a flat screen TV if you want one. Someone in the reviews said the water took 30 minutes to heat, but after I switched it on, mine was hot in about five. I'd definitely stay again.

The hotel didn't look or feel like a hotel to me: no reception area, a dark hallway, and a tiny elevator. I booked a queen size bed, but got a double. I had clarified months before check-in that I needed a queen, and Moor said that if it still felt small, he'd provide some kind of rolling bed. That didn't happen either. I told management about the bed, and Moor said it was the biggest one they had. They also didn't respond to my communication during the stay. Horrible experience. I'll never stay here again.
