Ben Hillel Boutique Hotel

We paid about $66 a night and I thought it was good value. I stayed three nights in March 2018. The owner was professional and kind, and our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels each day. It was clean and spacious enough for two, with all the essentials. There are shops, markets, and restaurants nearby, though it stays quiet at night. The hotel is in central Jerusalem, outside the Old Town, about a 20-minute walk from the central bus station, 15 minutes from Jaffa Gate, and two minutes from the tram.

The staff are kind, and the place is convenient for getting around. It’s very close to the city center, Jaffa Gate, and the tramway. The downside is the busy location and poor windows, so earplugs are very welcome if you want to sleep. The place is clean and gets cleaned every day.

Guy runs the hotel with a warm, friendly approach. He’s caring, informative, reliable, flexible, and always ready to help. He gives it a distinctively Israeli, home-like feel in Jerusalem. The rooms are clean and remodeled, with a great shower, TV, WiFi, refrigerator, and complimentary coffee and tea. It’s in downtown Jerusalem, close to popular restaurants, the trolley, buses, and taxis, with the Western Wall and Mamilla Mall nearby. I love this hotel. It feels like a home away from home.

Spotlessly clean, with a comfortable stay and a prime location. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel for a Jerusalem visit.
