We found the suites clean and comfortable, and the staff were especially friendly and helpful. It’s a good value for families, too. The neighborhood is pleasant, with the Old City and central bus station both an easy walk away.

I’m from Los Angeles, and I’d put Eshel ahead of the Shefa hotels. Everything felt spacious, clean, and nicely arranged. We stayed with a baby in a room right above the light rail station, but closing the window made it completely quiet. There’s a new elevator, and the room has everything you could think of for Shabbat. It’s near everywhere, too. I’ve already sent many friends here on vacation, and they loved it as well. You might pay a little more than elsewhere, but I think it’s worth it. I’ll definitely be back.

The apartments are spacious and beautiful, and the building is new. It’s also right by Mahane Yehuda market and the light rail route.
