FeelHome- Magical David Citadel Village

The breakfast buffet was impressive and had a lot to choose from, but getting service was frustrating. We and other guests struggled to catch the waitstaff’s attention, so we ended up getting our own coffee and collecting our own eggs. At hotels like the Orient, staff greet you and are friendly and attentive. That wasn’t what we experienced at the Citadel. It may sound minor, but at a hotel that presents itself as the city’s most luxurious, the lack of attention stood out. David’s Citadel is a great hotel, but in this way it fell well short of its reputation during my stay.

When our flight was canceled, Manuel and the staff, including Yardena, went above and beyond to help us. They were there for us from the beginning to the end of the trip. The David Citadel feels like our home away from home, and we can’t wait to return. Its location is ideal, just minutes from the Kotel and across from Mamilla. We loved the comfortable rooms, welcoming service, hospitality, and delicious breakfast. There’s nowhere else we’d rather stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Luai Sinora, thank you for the excellent lounge service and lovely presentation. We were also lucky to meet Manuel Arbid, the Director of Guest Relations. He welcomed us warmly and paid close attention to what we needed. We’d highly recommend this place.

Said’s service was the main reason breakfast was so good, and dining room manager Issa was very helpful. Housekeeping, though, missed a can of Coke and two empty wine bottles in our room. They stayed there for all six days.
